Employees Retention- business strategies, employees are always considered as an assets for any organisation. In present scenario most of the organisations prefer multi skilled employees.
The process starts at the time of interviewing the candidates, in modern era most of the employers are much focusing on the skills of candidates in lieu of the previous experience, achievements and how effectively candidate fit out in the organization and optimization of profile he is interested with.
It was a case study conducted by couple of year back if employee quiet or fired from organization within a year causing huge loss to the company.
The below mentioned facts which I strongly believe are useful for employees retention-
- Focus more candidate skills, past achievement, career growth path, area of interest, hobbies while interviewing candidate, which may give you a vision how effectively utilised them with organisation ethics and culture
- Give proper induction and training of the department he is going to operate
- Always open for discussion during priorities and performance on periodic basis
- Involve them while discussing the issues and problem giving hindrance of performance. It is utmost mandatory to share vision and organisation expectation from him within the organisation
- Properly rectify his problems on priority, which is not only give confidence rather facilitate their activities
- Open discussion may be the best resource available to retain employees
- Your attitude towards employees must be assertive by nature, which help to them to build trust towards the organisation, reasons most of employees are not quitting organisation just sake of money most of them are quitting due to environment of organisation.
- Always open for an exit interview with every employee if they are leaving which help to rectify issues forced to him for exit and if employees are leaving for better prospect must congratulate and celebrate with him, which give a better image among the industry competitors
